How do I connect to Denison's network from off-campus or to my Novell U: and S: drives from a Windows computer?
Using a remote access client allows you to connect to Denison's Novell file servers, Library and other resources that are otherwise restricted to on-campus only when you are off-campus.
The instructions below outline how to install and use the Pulse Secure client for remote access.
Important: If you wish to access files on Denison's Novell servers, please follow the steps outlined in the Accessing Novell Drives FAQ on a Personal Windows computer or Accessing Novell Drives FAQ on a Denison Windows computer AFTER you use these instructions to establish a remote access connection.
You must know whether you have a 32-bit or 64-bit version of the Windows operating system in order to install Pulse Secure. (Note: Denison Windows computers are Windows 7 64-bit, or Windows 10 64-bit). If you are not sure, you can find this information as follows…
Once you have found your operating system type...
At this point, the installation is complete and Pulse Secure is ready to use. For easier access, ITS recommends adding it to your Start menu or taskbar. (From the Windows Start menu, select "All Programs", "Pulse Secure", "Pulse Secure" and then right-click on Pulse Secure and choose either "Pin to Taskbar" or "Pin to Start Menu".)
